Mitigate608 LLC ("Mitigate608," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit mitigate608.com (the "Site"), contact us, or receive mitigation and restoration services from us (together, the "Services").

By using the Site or the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

  • submit a service request through the contact form on our Site
  • call, text, or email us
  • become a customer and work with us during a job

  • Property information: property address and city, type of loss (such as water, mold, storm, or sewage), when the incident happened, a description of the damage, and photos, videos, moisture readings, test results, and other job documentation about the property
  • Insurance information: whether an insurance claim is involved, and the details you share so we can support that claim, such as carrier name, claim number, and adjuster contact information
  • Billing and account information: what we need to invoice for the Services and collect payment
  • Communications: records of your calls, texts, emails, and other messages with us

We ask only for the information we need to provide the Services and run our business.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We use it to operate, secure, and maintain the Site.

We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels on the Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to service requests and emergency calls
  • schedule, perform, document, and complete the Services
  • communicate with you about your job, including by phone, text, and email
  • support insurance claims related to the Services, when you ask us to
  • invoice for the Services and collect payment
  • maintain business records and meet legal, regulatory, licensing, and insurance obligations
  • operate, maintain, and secure the Site
  • protect our rights, property, and safety, and the rights, property, and safety of others

We do not currently use your information for marketing emails or targeted advertising. If that changes, we will update this Policy and give you any choices the law requires.

Information We Process on Behalf of Our Clients

Some of our clients, such as property owners, property managers, and commercial customers, may give us personal information about other people, such as tenants, occupants, or site contacts, so we can perform Services at their properties. We use that information only to provide the Services to that client and as this Policy describes. If you have questions about how a client handles your information, contact that client directly.

Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information. We share personal information only as follows:

  • Subcontractors and service providers: people and companies who help us perform the Services or run our business, such as subcontractors, testing laboratories, equipment and hosting providers, and accounting or payment services. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Insurance companies and their representatives: carriers, adjusters, and related parties involved in a claim connected to the Services, when you have asked us to support your claim or have otherwise authorized it.
  • Government and regulatory bodies: when a law, regulation, or permit requires it (for example, regulated abatement work).
  • Legal requirements: to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others
  • Business transfers: to a buyer or successor in a merger, sale, reorganization, or other transfer of all or part of our business or assets

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal, regulatory, tax, licensing, and insurance requirements. After that, we delete it or de-identify it.

The Site may link to websites operated by third parties. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

Social Media

We maintain pages on Facebook and Instagram. When you interact with us there, the platform's own privacy policy and terms govern your information. Information you post publicly on social media may be visible to others. We may use your messages or comments to reply to you.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send "Do Not Track" signals. The Site does not currently respond to these signals. Because we do not currently use third-party tracking on the Site, these signals do not change how the Site works.

Children's Privacy

The Site and the Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee its security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as applicable law requires.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on the Site and change the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Site or the Services after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
